Asta e ce am scris in februarie cand l-am vazut pe Obama :) Un om care intra in scena pe U2 nu putea decat sa castige! Sunt bucuroasa pentru prietenii mei care l-au sustinut! / That's what I wrote when I saw Obama in February. ;) A man who get up on the stage on U2 background must win. I'm happy for my friends who supported him!

"Cladirea semana mai curand cu un castel medieval si a fost intemeiata in secolul al VI-lea, iar curand dupa aceea, cand armatele musulmane au inaintat spre vest din Peninsula Arabica, cineva a avut prevederea sa construiasca o mica moschee in curtea ei, ca sa o fereasca de incendiere sau demolare. In timpul cruciadelor a venit randul manastirii sa apere moscheea si asa a strabatut veacurile, fiecare Casa a Domnului luand-o sub aripa sa ocrotitoare pe cealalta in vreme ce armatele dusmane veneau si plecau". (Ahdaf Soueif despre o manastire din Egipt) / "The building [the monastery] was looking more like a medieval castle and it was established in the 6th century, and soon after that, when the Muslim army was on the offensive in the West coming from Arab Peninsula, somebody was very inspired and built a small mosque in its backyard, to protect the monastery from fires or demolition.
